Sporting Goods
A suitcase might not be the only thing you want to bring with you. We know that travelers have different needs but space might be limited. Therefore, we only allow one sports item per traveler under the conditions mentioned below.
Please note that sports equipment may be space or weight restricted. If you have sporting goods, please advise your travel agents prior to departure. No sports equipment that has not been pre-registered will be accepted at the check-in desk.
Please also note that sporting goods, in their case, must comply with checked baggage size requirements, otherwise they will be considered overweight and/or oversized and fees will apply.
Conditions:
- If you are already traveling with a baggage, the sports equipment is considered a second baggage and the applicable rates will apply.
- Sports equipment must be placed in a bag or case that respects our check-in baggage standards. A bag or case that doesn’t meets these standards will be considered as overweight or oversized and fees will apply.
- Sports equipment must be packed appropriately to prevent possible damage. We can refuse any item that is likely to get damaged or to damage other baggage.
- Clothing and personal items cannot be packed in the sports equipment bag or case. If so, check-in baggage fees will apply.
- Only sporting equipment that is appropriately packed will be accepted. Loose items that are not in a bag or case will not be accepted.
- Travelers need to check with their travel agents for their oversized equipment prior to departure. Transfer vehicles may not have enough room to accommodate such equipment.
